Small U-channel trim for bonded van windows
This black rubber U-channel finishing trim is designed to cover the exposed cut metal edge around a bonded campervan or conversion window aperture. The RU-ET-06 profile gives the installation a neater, more professional finish.

Fitting note
Push the channel firmly over the clean cut edge before the bonded window is installed. This is a finishing and edge-protection trim; it does not replace the primer, adhesive or sealing system required to bond the glass.

How the U-channel is used
1. Finish the aperture
Deburr and prepare the cut metal edge so the trim can sit evenly.
2. Dry-fit the trim
Press the U-channel over the edge and work carefully around curves and corners.
3. Fit before bonding
Confirm the trim is secure and does not obstruct the glass before applying the bonding system.
Finishing trim only
U-channel covers and protects the exposed edge. It does not bond or seal the glass and does not replace automotive primer or adhesive.

How much U-channel do I need?
Measure the complete perimeter of the window aperture. A 4m length is suitable for many single windows, but larger apertures may require more. The 50m roll is intended for multiple installations.
How do I choose Small, Medium, Large or Jumbo?

Does U-channel bond or seal the window?
No. It is finishing and edge-protection trim only. A suitable automotive glass primer and adhesive system is still required to install the bonded window.
When should I install the U-channel?
Dry-fit it to the prepared aperture before applying adhesive and fitting the glass. Confirm it sits securely and does not interfere with the window or bonding bead.
